Planner Meyer Briggs Personality

Here is how our planners fall among the Meyers Briggs personality types:

Brett Lathrup is our Logistician (ISTJ) and can we just say, he’s sort of shy … but once you get to know him, he’s a lot of fun! Clients love his reliability, practicality, and his ability to stay grounded and logical. He composes his plans carefully and methodically–it’s important to him that what he presents to his clients is straightforward and easy to follow, without missing any of the nuance or detail that makes the plan realistic and actionable. Brett is our unflappable planner; we know we could throw anything at him, and he’d run with it (and also calmly take our clients through what they need to know). He’s also the guy in our practice that encourages us to connect and talk about the practice, beyond client casework.

Joann Nieciecki is our Adventurer (ISFP) personality (but also borderline with ISTJ), who draws our clients in with her groundedness and warmth, and then wows them with her precise financial plans. Joann is our Excel Ninja, and her plans illustrate the nuance of small changes leading to larger impact. Joann is an independent thinker and has brought a lot of new ideas, approaches and evolution to how we do planning here at Creative Money. Her clients love her keen eye for detail and her ability to empathize and understand their aspirations and concerns.

Sam Kirby is the Adventurer (ISFP) personality type, and her ability to connect to others with openness and warmth is definitely what draws clients to her, but that’s only half the story. Sam is an amazing financial planner because Sam loves the world of possibility, and finding solutions in creative ways for our clients. Her flexible mindset helps her develop plans and present strategies in new ways, depending on the situation. Sam is our innovator, but also has the empathy and understanding to build strong client relationships, fostering trust and open communication. She works very well with ADHD clients too.

Mindy Crary is the Architect (INTJ) personality type… and she loves perfecting the details of life, applying creativity and rationality to her financial plans. Although Architects have private and complex inner worlds, her curiosity about others makes for an excellent collaborator with her clients. As one of the rarest personality types – and one of the most capable – Architects (INTJs) pride themselves on their ability to think for themselves, not to mention their uncanny knack for seeing right through phoniness and hypocrisy. Since Mindy is also the practice owner, her personality type ensures we continue to work critically and strategically for all of our clients.
